The American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar is an educational campus that houses the Richmond National Battlefield Park Visitor Center and is home to the exhibit, In the Cause of Liberty.

In keeping with the mission of The American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar education programs are designed to expand the critical thinking skills of students through a variety of innovative and exciting programs.  Students will explore the era of the Civil War and its many legacies through artifacts, exhibitions and hands-on activities.
